What is the Corded Club?
Within the current social climate, where technology which is based on the use of wireless radiation has become the norm in practically all corners of the globe, it is a voice in the wilderness which speaks up and says, "Hold on, this trend cannot last and is impacting human society in a very negative fashion: we must buck this trend now!"
Whether voice in the wilderness or not, though, ultimately numbers are not as important as truths: so we do not mind if the Corded Club has a small or a large membership base. Our only concern is that those fellow concerned citizens, like ourselves, who wish to join the chorus of complaint against wireless technology can be given a voice together.
The voice of truth and conscience has always derived its strength not from numbers but from itself, and remains the voice of truth and conscience even if only one person in the world takes it up.
Fortunately, however, far more than one person has come to realize the negative impact of wireless technology on humanity, and so some of us are gathering together here to make public our stance, make clear our statements and, through this web resource, meet others of like minds and share useful information so that we can all be well informed citizens.
As such, the Corded Club was founded online in July 2009 by a small band of concerned citizens.
As and when the membership base grows, we might also expand our activities, such as by contacting the media, or introducing a forum section of the website where we would invite members to join, in order to give the opportunity for our members - spanning different continents - to get to know each other, ask each other questions, learn from each other and make new friends.
The Corded Club also maintains an active interest in other related issues, such as other forms of electromagnetic pollution, electromagnetic stress and related illnesses and solutions. We recognize that wireless radiation is certainly not the only electromagnetic health concern facing us. It is simply one of the main ones which has overtaken our society including in public places, resulting in an imposition on both the health and human rights of people almost wherever they go. And therefore we are taking the wireless radiation issue as one of the most obvious electromagnetic excesses of our times, and hence the current flagship and namesake of our complaints and of our informed alternative life choices... as people living corded lives in which we do what we can to minimize unhealthy electromagnetic exposures.
